The V-groove pulley system can be adapted to an alternate power source such as an electric motor, water wheel, gasoline motor, bicycle, steam engine or other power generating device.  The power source must be engineered to run at a speed of no greater than 200 RPM through a transfer transmission or pulley system.  Operating over 200 RPM may damage the unit and or cause unsafe operations with the potential for personal injury.  An emergency stop system should also be incorporated into the power source.
