More Update on the Combo Turkey Call.

I have called in 8 birds with this call this year I have only kill two of them my buddy killed one and my wife killed one we let the others walk we will be looking for them next year when they grow up a little !!! The double beard turkey with 1 1/2 spurs came off public land in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri ! The one I took in Arkansas had a 10 ... See Morein beard and 1 5/16 in spurs old turkeys don't come easy but the combo call I used all season has a tone they love !!! You can not beat it for locating those old birds. Combo Call Makes the Hunt
Cottage Craft Works Combo Turkey/Owl/Crow/Hawk call is bringing in trophy turkey hunts. Brent Overton called in three on opening day in Arkansas, then travel to Missouri to take this trophy on his second day. Brent says " It took 5 hours to finaly close the deal on him birds like this don't come easy and don't think I would have got him in without the combo call I used eveything on it at some point in the hunt that morning" Brent loves his Combo Call from http://www.cottagecraftworks.com.

Go Green With Our all Aluminum Carts
Cottage Craft Works features handcrafted products from the cottage based small business craftsman. It is true most of our products are crafted out of fine hardwoods, the fact is we also have metal and aluminum products. With April 22, 2010 marked as Green Day we want to reintroduce our All Aluminum Bicycle Cart and all aluminum laundry basket cart. The bicycle cart is very versatile for sports, work, or transport back and forth to the store. It is perfect for Island living, where bicycles are the main mode of transportation, or just living green, living healthy, or using a bike instead of an automobile.
Our Aluminum laundry basket Cart was built to transport laundry to the outdoor clothes line. I also use mine in the house to transport laundry back and forth from the linen closets and bedrooms. It is a real back saver and rolls easy through the house.
Cottage Craft Works feature high quality handcrafted items from the cottage based industries. While many of our crafters and artisans are Amish, we also have as many who are not. One common trait of many of our cottage based business partners, is the trade or craftsmanship they have learned was passed down from family generations. Some of our partners operate second and third generation shops.

****New Four Star Combo Turkey Call****
Cottage Craft Works unveils their newest Four Star Combo Turkey/Owl/Crow/Hawk Call. This is another hunting call, handcrafted of beautiful hardwoods in the Amish country. The base is made of walnut and popular. The Four Star Combo Call has four available wood paddles, Walnut, Cherry, Jatoba, and Purple Heart. The paddles have engravings of the American flag wrapped by a flying eagle. Paddles are engraved with either “God Bless America” or “Four Star”.
Much like its bigger brother the Original Combo Turkey Call the Four Star Combo Turkey Call features a single side traditional turkey box call, which also uniquely incorporates an owl, crow, and hawk locator call all into one compact hand held unit. The Combo Call eliminates the need to fumble for different calls needed to locate and call in that elusive bird.

Amish German Chocolate Cake Cookies | Amish Cooking
Here is a simple cookie recipe from the Amish country.
1 box German Chocolate Cake Mix
12 oz. (2cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs-beaten
Mix all ingredients together
Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart
Bake 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
